Mark i roll Core Saver
Reopen crushed core product for paper rolls.
The Mark I roll saver consists of a cone shaped hydraulic head with body. A high pressure hose connects
the Mark I to a hydraulic oil pressure pump. The conical end is inserted into the damaged core, or it can
be hammered in, in cases of extreme crush. When the pump is manually operated, the pressure plate in
the hydraulic head is expanded at up to 10,150 psi (700 bar), forcing the core and paper roll back into its original round shape.

Mark ii Roll Core Saver
Provides fast results, and can be used virtually anywhere, without any special training.
The Mark II roll saver has a hydraulic pump located below the handle, transmitting up to 9,000 psi
(621 bar) to the cast steel jaws. The closed jaws are positioned in the crushed roll. A few strokes on
the pump handle will force the jaws open. To close the jaws, simply open the release valve. Repeating
this process several times allows the roll saver to move further into the roll. Once inside the roll, the
operator must rotate the roll saver to push out in all directions, especially in the direction of the maximum crush. The Mark II is designed for fiber cores and is not recommended for steel or steel tipped cores.
Film rolls constricted or crushed by film tension may not be repairable.
