Press maintenance is the key, not only for improved print quality and reduced waste, but also for increasing the life of the press, rollers and blankets. Downtime is also significantly reduced and
frustration levels are lower.
The narrow web flexographic process requires the use of printing, die-cutting, laminating
and many
other functions depending on the job at hand. Critical components include gears, bearings rollers,
and drive components which when neglected contribute to mis-registration, poor print quality
and increased waste. A press that has been neglected for more than 3-5 years can bring rebuild costs
in excess of $20,000. A solid preventative maintenance plan will extend the life of the press and
bring more profits to the bottom line due to higher productivity and less waste.

what components are out of original specification. Next, we will review the press survey and with your approval, order the components for overnight delivery & expedite the maintenance plan.
