Idler Roll Coverings & Tapes
Idlers play an important roll in any production capability, whether on a press, slitter rewinders or conveyors. Protecting these rolls is paramount in maintaining web consistency and minimizing the replacing of them.

Heat Shrink Teflon Sleeves
Provides longer life for roll surfaces, decreases maintenance by minimizing ink and adhesion buildup and is easily applied. Seamless material with consistent surface. Operates in high temperature applications. Safely used in food industries.
Heat shrink sleeves come in a wide variety of sizes and are stocked in 6’ lengths. Standard sizes 2”, 2.5”, 3”, 4" and 5” in stock. Additional sizes available.

3M Teflon Tape for Idlers Rolls
Teflon tape offers an extremely low coefficient of friction. This pressure sensitive silicone adhesive creates a smooth non-sticking surface to assist the movement of the web.
Standard available dimensions in 1" and 2" widths each 36 yards in length. Custom widths are available.

Knubby Wrap Tape for Idlers
AAA Press stocks this roll covering with an embossed silicone coating to wrap around rolls on presses and converting equipment.
The knubby wrap keeps inks, coatings and adhesives from building up on rollers and adds significant web tension. Dimension of roll is 2” wide x 25 yards in length.
